VUKMIR + ASSOCIATES acted as principal legal counsel for the lenders – Erste & Steiermarkische Bank d.d. and Zagrebačka banka d.d. in relation to 24 million-euro club loan extended to Arena Hospitality Group – member of Park Plaza Group and one of the most dynamic hospitality groups in Central and Eastern Europe currently offering a portfolio of 26 owned, co-owned, leased and managed properties with more than 10,000 rooms and accommodation units in Croatia, Germany and Hungary.
The facility is intended for the financing of ARENA’s project of reconstruction and development of Hotel Brioni – one of the symbols of the City of Pula. Our engagement involved review of the transaction documents (credit agreement, collaterals, sponsor agreement, inter-banking agreement, etc.), examination of fulfilment of the conditions precedent and rendering legal opinion.
